Oldskool club music by Ferry Corsten. Love it! It has a bit of every Ferry style in the past. I'm hearing the melody of Duran Duran - Save A Prayer in the background:)

Pretty enjoyable for me to be honest. Not quite sure about that vocal sample but overall I think the track is somewhat catchy.

yeah that background plucky arp sounds hella familiar, definitely heard it in some 'The Twister' techno update in recent years, the main theme also reminds me of something else.. despite this lack of originality to the melodies and the rather messy overall composition there's a lot to enjoy in this tune for me. a 'dub' mix without all the vocal shouts would work even better tho

of course if you'd expect Ferry create new anthems like he did 25 years ago you'd prob end up disappointed but this is still better than 80% of what's being released nowadays

Maybe this is why I enjoy it - I know of like 5 Ferry tracks from the olden days.

I'll take that challenge. I bet you know these:

Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche
System F - Out of The Blue
Ferry Corsten - Punk
Gouryella - Gouryella

So.... let's add ONE track that you know.... and then you LIED.

I'll go with... Gouryella - Tenshi. You might have heard about that one. :D

I'd add a cheesier yet more obvious one imo - Rock Your Body, Rock

I actually received an email from armada for a contest for remixing it if anyone is interested, I think it's a pretty good song and if you are interested of making your version:

If this was released back in the day it'd be a mid level (at the very best) track from Ferry, but today it feels like one of the better tracks he's put out in some years. In saying that, the vocal is awful IMO and ruins it for me. Doesn't fit this style of music at all.

I think if anyone can pull the unconventional vocal off its ferry and actually it kinda works here. Its not too wonky, just quirky, like the whole tune .Besides its just one short line. Atleast the tune has a bit of charachter, cant say that about many other modern tunes.

6.2/10

To be fair, I was expecting a lot worse! The lead has a similar synth sound to old school Svenson & Gielen. The rather schizophrenic and wonky melody adds a bit of character, but I'm not a big fan of the vocal nor the riser that we hear at 3:38 for example.

The woo sample is a tad overused, but I find it adds a bit of jumpiness to the track

Unfortunately I wasn't picked, but I still think it was a good remix.

Shame this means that this will remix will never be allowed to see the light of day.

This is the first time I saw I can share tracks from opportunities too, at least a few people can hear it...
