It’s a cover of Syntone - Can’t Believe It, played in many Cosmic Gate’s sets of this season

We’re thrilled to announce the release of “Can’t Believe It,” our cover of the classic Silverblue remix of Syntone’s hit from 2002! This track has always held a special place in our hearts since our teenage years, and it’s time to pay homage to the timeless melody that continues to resonate with us today.

Premiered at ASOT 1000 by the legends themselves, @realcosmicgate, we couldn’t be more excited to share this with you all!

But that’s not all! On this release, we’ve teamed up with the incredibly talented DJ and producer from Utrecht, @ralphaidenofficial, who is already making waves on labels like Spinnin’ Records. Ralph Aiden’s remix is the FIRST EVER remix of a Greenhaven DJs track!

The remix from Silverblue was thrashed by Cosmic Gate in every set back in the Hard Trance days, loved it.

They dropped this version at Dreamstate Melbourne this year and sounded quality live, after not hearing the melody for a few years.

That track is special for me, as the Cosmic Gate Trance Energy 2003-set is one of the first trance things I discovered and truly loved. And the Silvertone track is in that set So it's very cool to see them paying attention to it.

But... the remix... isn't great. I'm glad it's not a raped version. It's sort of true to the old track. That's cool. But I mean, it was a banging 140 bpm tech track. And now it's converted into a 128 slow track, it just sounds slow.

I like how these guys respect the original vibe when remixing classics. since I wasn't familiar with the original version until now, the shower tempo does not puts me off really. this is obviously made for CG modern sets which are somewhat in 124-130 area
