Yeah it's really good. Every country has their own twist on whiskey I find. In general Scotch is wild and rugged, Irish is more balanced (combines ruggedness and sweetness quite well), Japanese is sweet yet sophisticated and Aussie stuff is more understated, a bit like English whiskey. Me and the lads organize a wiskey/poker evening once a blue moon and I got complaints that the Talisker I kicked off with this year is waay to peaty and brute for starters (pussies..Yeah it's really good.
