Absolutely fantastic remix which turns the forgettable original into one of the tracks of the year. Very clever and intricate intro and outro and the main synths are fattened up appropriately as they were thin in the original. Wonderful work @Narel

Pretty enjoyable I have to say. Nice remix.

Waiting for the full version to make my final judgement.

Not bad but percs/beat/bpm too stale for me

Full version - as I said before, just a stunning build up, nicely beefed up main synths and a great outro as well. Narel has really upped his game on this one!

Just what i thought, another great remix from Narel! He should get more recognition imo, his back catalog is full of great originals and remixes.

Interesting feedback on this one. I love it. But….. I tend to find when I love something it is received 50/50 - case in point! When I think something isn’t quite there, it’s usually received really well *facepalm. Clearly I haven’t got sh1t sorted yet.
Personally this was a big moment for me as I’ve been a Solarstone fan since I was 16, though he’s played bits by me before, to get a remix on Pure Prog and great feedback from him was brilliant 😊.
The genesis of this remix was me sending Hoopoe a message saying ‘Hutan’ was excellent, then he asked me to remix this as he’d heard my previous stuff. It got sent to Solarstone and the rest you know.
And for the geeks like me, other than Hoopoe’s audio parts and the percussion, this remix is 100% hardware synths.
