A brand new electronic (/techno) music EP from the God himself. Very excited about this one. We'll see about the tracks themselves, but you just gotta appreciate his return to electronic music.

Here's the title track. Sounds pretty alright actually.

A bit of a story behind this.

It's like a solid build-up, but in stead of going somewhere, it ends. Now it's just some beats with some synth stabs.

Where's the next half of the track?

Yeah a bit too ordinary for me as well. It's alright for sure, but with his name come great expectations. Mine were more creativity and better arrangement overall.

Dull as dish water, he's gotten rather boring in the year since he released this beast!

The sounds are awesome but it feels a bit unfinished/monotone.

Oh yeah, that was a proper nod to his old prog days. Not quite as good, but pretty amazing regardless.

Still, he's got so much credit that he has to put out like 20 boring electronic releases before I start labeling him as a boring producer. He's got it in him to make great music. Distance Between Dreams OST was a work of art, and that was only a couple of years ago. This is why I expect better stuff from him, he can do so much with his vast hardware collection, and his huge modular wall.

I am with this. The sound design and selection is perfect. It just never gets anywhere. I think some folks like it that way.

Terrible. Sounds like it was made in 4 minutes. Breezer still my favorite tune from him.

Why so bland and emotionless? Nthing interesting happening whatsoever

Here's another one. The beat and tone at the start get the head nodding and the eyes closed but then it never offers anything else...

'd be interresting to see what these tracks do in a proper set as filler, but they don't stand very well on their own.

Still, the man might a bit rusty after all these years hans zimmering. I for one hope he continues to pick it up.

Oooh that one is a bit good. I suppose he's put a lot of effort into it because it was for a high profile TV series. It sounds like a classic prog trance track from the late 90s when putting a lot of effort into productions was the norm.
