One of my favourite tech trance tunes. Sounds simple but really well made. The B side on the original release was called Grace, the original mix of which does not seem to be posted anywhere on the net.

I never considered this to be tech trance before, but I see where you are coming from. Was tech trance a coined term in 1999? Amazing track regardless.

Or were you looking for another mix? According to Discogs there was later a separate release called Grace on Avantgarde, but I think the recording in the video should be the original ...

Was tech trance a coined term in 1999?

Good question and I'm not 100% sure. Archives of various dance music magazines from the 90's are available on the net. A glance through those would reveal the answer.

My guess would be that tech trance was a term used in the 90's. When you hear a production like The Freak & Mac Zimms - Submission (1996), there just no other way to describe it.

For a long time I thought that Submission was the earliest tech trance production. Then recently I read a comment on another forum in which a track from 94 or 95 was posted and referred to as the first one. It was by the producer Jamez or one of his aliases.

Or were you looking for another mix? According to Discogs there was later a separate release called Grace on Avantgarde, but I think the recording in the video should be the original ...

That's great, thanks. I was looking for the original mix of Grace. Such a great track and a worthy B-side to Plutonium.
