Well... it sounds a LOOOOOOOT like Pulser - My Religion.
I mean, I like it's oldschool-y, I like that you decided to go that route, rather then (semi)modern stuff, I like the synth sound, I like the choir...
but it's way too much My Religion. My brain tells me I'm listening to that old Pulser track.
liking the sounds you employ and the drive.
but i must say: the melody is all over the place.
Sounds like a more generic my religion with inferior equing/mastering. Everything just sounds flat to me unfortunaly , from sounds/instruments used to the whole arrangement/style/structure. The chord progression is off to me aswell.
Not the worst thing ive heard in my life though...
The pulser track is on the edge of what I would call a memorable/ “whistelable” melody. It’s the simplicity of the riff that does it.In what respect? If people are hearing My Religion, then it cant be that far out hehe.
If you guys made an original that sounded a lot like another track (not exactly the same melody) would you rename it a remix or an original track?
Tbh im not that bothered,i only make tracks purely for fun nowadays...

imvho yours is over the edge i don’t feel (but again this is just me) like it’s really going anywhere.
If I (happens all the time) make something that sounds a lot like xtrack before. I usually do two things
- tinker with the melody/chords till they are unique enough, but making very sure I don’t over complicate it
- start from scratch, but keep the bass/kick etc.
to me it just the main melody in your track that needs fixing, all the other elements I think are fine
Hehe fair enoughI think il just finish it and leave it...it might provide some entertainment how many people mention My Religion haha.
My Religion: A Sign From Universe!
Sorry, I couldn't resist
Btw, can you pls check my new stuff? That's called Drive-By (yeah, gang shootings from cars). You can be as harsh as you want)haha - keep em coming
