Hello everyone,

A few months ago @MarnixMulder joined our forum, and he posted a video containing various ideas for songs he once had. But he never finished them. One of them caught my attention, and I decided to message Marnix, asking whether he would like to collaborate on an actual track around the theme he created. And so we did.

The original has become a fairly modern uplifting bomb, with hints from the golden trance era. But there's more. We got a great Aerium Remix from @jetflag for starters. With his dreamy lush signature sound a great addition to our release. Then there's a Julian Del Agranda Remix, with the intention of transforming the track completely into the old golden era. Then to complete the package: there's a slower proggy "Soothing Mix" from myself, and a techy-festivally "Dragon City Mix" from Marnix.

We are proud to announce this package was selected as the special 50th anniversary release on The Legacy Of Trance Recordings. OUT NOW.

First of all, when I posted this video I could never imagine that this would happen :)
It was such a pleasure to experience the birth of this track.
Made this video of my ideas with the idea 'dare to ask' , but I was so surprised with this reaction and also a bit overwhelmed in the beginning.

But when Magnevi shared his first ideas it became real very fast.
It was so amazing to hear my own melody in a more professionally produced way.
After a while Magnevi told me that Jetflag would remix it, it was becoming way beyond my imagination.
Becoming enthousiastic about this whole process I decided to work out my original project file too.
As the Original mix had become Euphoric enough I cut the track after the break to spoil it with a rough techy part.
(OK, I put back the melodic part after that, because I couldn't say goodbey to the melody ;) )

It has become a really nice package of all different mixes, so nice to see those have evolved from just an old idea from years ago:

Fun fact, we shared all our ideas back and forth through private messages in this forum :)
So the birth and growth of Legatum was thanks to Trancefix ;)

I can't find enough words to thank @Magnevi for this opportunity!
Have learned a lot from him and it's really motivating to work with such a passionate trance fanatic.
...and of course @jetflag for his terrific moody melodic remix, absolutely fantastic!

I used all versions, except the Julian Del Agranda one, of the track already in my mixes as ID vs ID - ID (ID Mix) :ROFLMAO:
My own 'remix' is in my latest mix, and not an ID vs ID anymore, put it online yesterday (at 1 hour 19 minutes):

Indeed so nice to see all the comments! I"m pretty excited as this is my first release ever.

It was about a year ago that I decided to take my music hobby more serious. To be honest, I then started to use a template and use my midi files to make 'original' tracks. But I was really really disappointed as the tracks not sounded as my own. They sounded pretty professional but also very very replacable 😅 So after a while I decided to just work with my original files and made that compilation video of ideas.

Glad I did it this way and not the template way. About my version, it's a step closer to a more professional sound I want to learn. And still funny it has grown into this from the original project file. Still including old school VST's like Vanguard/Albino and the Superwave Trance.

I was just taking a shower as I have accumulated bodily filth over the past 24h that needed washing. I had masturbated earlier that day so my head was clearer. I thought of a couple different things, as one does when they shower. Work, private life, fantasies of me getting a lot of cash and deliberating on what I would spend it. But in the midst of all that, I became aware of one thing - the melody from this track was playing on and off, in the background!
