Tracks like this are why I love Trance. I first heard it played in an Armin Vs Ferry Godskitchen set of the same year, one of the great sets of all time I might add and yet this track still blows my mind in that set.

Recently I noticed something:
When Armin played 'Flakes' in ASOT episodes 070 and 089, the track was listed as 'Matti Laamanen/ Sundawner- Flakes (cdr)' and certainly the uplifting part was different from the definitive version that was labelled by Tsunami.
Pre-release version (ASOT 070 & 089):
Release version (This one appeared in ASOT 095):
Probably Matti sent a few white label copies to different djs looking for feedback. In my opinion, the first one was more melodic and charming. A pity that he eventually modified that part of the song.

That's the Slinky Silky remix played in episode 070 but it was labelled under Sundawner alias.
