Here's some more unexpected good stuff!

I think many folks here will enjoy this dreamy track :)

"Time for a little trance flashback. We're going back in time, but not to the 2000s of uplifting trance, but even further back. A new subgenre was born in the mid-90s.
Robert Miles was the one who expressed Dream House, followed by Zhi-Vago and then DJ Dado, although I would classify that more as 90s trance. House sounds different to me. Anyway, have fun and enjoy it. I'm saying goodbye for this year. Maybe there will be a bit more music again in 2024. So stay tuned..."

Also worth to check out this guy's NFS Remixes album project, which is now active for about 10 years and counting.

Probably one of the most passionate projects out there.

Mellow Sonic is great! The Extreme G Revised is also worth a look. Satisfying Goa/Psy Trance.

Yeah, it's all made out of pure passion, that's why it's good. It's the most satisfying to find people like this and support their work.

I will very likely post more of his tunes,
he's produced many real nice tracks for those of us
that appreciate underground Trance music.

not so true..

the -orignal- 'Dream House' started already in 1989 and was popular till 1994:
While the influence of dream house continues to echo through the ages, the style was a:t its peak between 1989 and ’94, when producers across Italy delivered a high volume of loved-up, wavy and occasionally blissful productions that fused contemporary deep house tropes – most notably from Chicago, New York and New Jersey – with elements borrowed from ambient, jazz and Balearica.

the genre was misinterpreted by the mass media like TV and Radio since the success of 'Robert Miles', but true insiders of the genre would never call those Dj Dado's and 'Zhi-Vago's 'Dream House'

here an example of a 'Dream House' tune

Extasia - Alegrya (Virtual Mix) [Chameleon Records] 1994

You could post him about it on YouTube,
I'm sure he'd appreciate insider information!

Quite a nice simple tune, that def has some back-in-the-day vibes to it.

Extasia - Alegrya (Virtual Mix) [Chameleon Records] 1994

So nice! Any more shares like this in the classic section would be sweet.

@TRANCEBLASTER I have personally always called this genre 'Dream Trance'. That's a term I associate with Robert Miles and other above mentioned producers.

We know that Roberto himself was strongly inspired by Patrick O'Hearn - At First Light, which was an Ambient,
New Age piece.

The other piece they mention as his inspiration,
was much less of an inspiration, at least in my opinion.

Update: I reminded myself, it was the original version of Children, that was heavily inspired by Patrick O'Hearn.

The Dream version that has become so famous,
that melody was taken from Garik Sukhachov's song.

From Mellow Sonic's description, he also calls it 90s trance. It's not a dream house for him either. By the way, I have discovered many more good trance songs by him that you should definitely listen to!
