Moogwai - Viola [1999]

I remember hearing the original in 1999 and thinking it sounded a bit quirky. Now after many listens I realise it's an absolute masterpiece. Remixes came later but for me none can touch the original.

I think Armin's takes the cake for me. As a whole, it's a much more competent, digestible version (like most Armin works around that time - he wasn't always creatively groundbreaking as an artist, but he was an excellent producer...I digress). And it's just awesome as hell.

The original...just listened to it...it is very quirky. Not for me. But I do realize its upsides.

Original Mix is brilliant. But I heard the Armin Remix during Magik Six releaseparty so I have a special feeling for that.
