I do indeed think they are not trance. The Airwave and Cern are a maybe bit closer, because you used that upfront arpeggio in it. That's something typically used in trance. Before you say there's an arp in Gladiator as well. Maybe, but they are so slow and soft in the background that it feels like strings.
Anyway, to conclude, I think "chilled trance" is not a genre. Silence (Michael Woods Remix) is imo not trance either. It has nothing to do with the genre at all.
Trance is music that would be played on let's say Trance Energy.
I mean, let's face it, your remakes sound way closer to music like this:
Your music is a perhaps a bit more thematic, but that's to be expected since you base it on famous melodies.
But to conclude, I would say you make (nice) ambient music. Which some may refer to as "chill-out" or "lounge".
If you speed that up and stick a beat on - its Trance.
