I would've enjoyed this exactly 10 years ago. Uplifting, played on ASOT. Would've been my summer theme.

But right now I unfortunately don't. Congrats on the #1, good luck in the future and I do get the appeal somewhat, but this doesn't resonate with me at all. The style most of all; trance would be so great if every newcomer had something of their own to bring to the genre, rather than having to conform to its boundaries.

Hold on.

You literally said only melody counts when rating music.

And now you write this?

As for the track. I could write a big rant about it sounding like everybody else...

But let's keep it short: it's ok individually, if you never heard a trance track before in your life. Then you will think: wow... synthesizers and such, didn't know this amazing digital-instrument-awesomeness existed! And those drums are played so tight as well! Amazing drumming skills!

BUT.... if you are not new to trance... let's be real.... it sounds like everybody else. So the big question is: Who is murzo?

You will never be able to tell who is murzo if the music sounds like literally everybody else in this subgenre. That makes the "experience" of listening to murzo rather boring so far. Because... we have no idea who it is. Might as well be an alias of Darren Porter, Will Atkinson, Joc, I dunno, they all sound the same.

Try not using 16h note plucks for a change. You can do it.

I agree with @Magnevi ’s sentiment only to the degree of, yes, but would I really want to? Or do I just want to enjoy a good, greasy template cheeseburger without it having to be catalogued in the book of avant garden quisine names?

the track itself I find to be very well executed for what it wants to be. But nothing more then that, which is ok 🤷‍♂️

The main complaint from users like @Daysleeper i think I can steelman under: it’s not that it exists, which is fine especially in case of it being @MurZo s first track, which again, I find great for what it tries to be , it’s that it currently exists as 99% of all food/trance being made nowadays.

Well up untill Monday nobody knew who MurZo was but now they do.. This is my first trance track released and I've landed myself number 2 on the top 100 a pretty good start if you ask me. I would get number 1 if it wasn't for that Skrillex boy who has 18 million followers compared to my 611 on Facebook.. You can't judge or define my sound In 1 track

It's not about followers and sales, but about the product you make.

Burgers sell a lot. You made a nice burger. If that's truely your goal, you are well on your way. There's some of us though who hope for some veggies or something. And with 10 MacDonalds branches in every street... the trance scene... is filled with burgers already :)

Looking foward to a less generic follow-up!

I don't know if it's EQing or what but that kick sounds off. It sounds like I am listening to a bad track by special D, its better than the track by Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Benno, Ruben's track called Destination.

Congrats on the release.

I never said only melody counts, I said its the main thing for me.

Yeah the melody is the main aspect in this track what I like. But of course another aspects are important as well. This track is all about the lead melody which is quite epic to me as well. Overall sound is slightly template-ish and generic as you say, but I can enjoy it quite a lot anyway.

if you're so annoyed by my reviews, which you've already shown many times, feel free to block me, so you will get a more peaceful life mate :)
