This is about as electro/big-room as it gets while still being within trance.

The original mix has one of the better electro basslines I've heard in modern trance:

Sunny Lax's remix:

Nice wobbles in this version!

Used to dislike this track when this first came out during the anjuna-trouse era. Now listening to this again after so many years, this feels fresh. More so than so many of the cookie-cutter uplifting that we were all refusing to let go of.

The breakdown is classic trance with the big synths. But the real star of the show is the daring bassline. Never quite heard anything else like this tbh.

I have the feeling that N2O got a lot of flak back then because it was too different from his earlier work (North Pole, Aurora) and too electro/big room-y.
The breakdown does sound Rank1-esque, though! And yeah, Tiburon stands out from most 138 tracks except for maybe Angry Man's more melodic work.
