The intro sounds nice, really like the groove, it has that real old Global Underground vibe to it.
That breakdown though... wow that's something special! Gorgeous pads, tasteful use of the piano, great atmosphere!

Holy fucking balls, this sounds wonderful actually! Would've loved for that breakdown to continue through the "climax", it's really the highlight of the track for me.

I don't even think you need to here, it was just my preference. How did you lose the files?
Its my own fault. I tend to get rid of old projects to make space for creativity. All my productions are done from scratch without any recycling to make each production unique so once I have a premaster/master I dont touch those projects anymore ... but yeah I know its sometimes maybe a little bit dumb. 2018 was (at least for me) quite a long time ago. I still used to produce in Ableton Live 8 on an old windows 7 machine which died some day. So yeah bye bye old projects! I didnt try to rescue data.
