first track from the EP is online:
Omformer is the collaborative project from Ute cornerstones Mikkel Rev and Oprofessionell. Being a project mostly focusing on the live act, they still have managed to build an impressive catalogue covering everything from one-hour long ambient tracks to loopy psychedelic peak time weapons.

And for their long overdue debut EP you can expect no less, presenting four summer ready trance excursions extracted straight from previous live sets and jam sessions.

Dive into their most maximalist, drama inducing and dancefloor-shattering project to date. Get lost in layered psychedelic trance endlessly looping arpeggios, mind bending squelching resonances and big melodies best consumed under the forest canopy.

In the past couple of years I bemoaned the lack of ideas as the key factor in nu trance not reaching its full potential. For me, it was gimmicky - average musical ideas wrapped inside some gorgeous synths. This year has proven me wrong already. Loads of great releases. Love the other two tracks, although 10.000 Ohm is still my favourite.

The most reliable Trance label we have. Shame their output is very infrequent and only a small roster of the same artists appear. Let us see them bring in other names in the scene who already come close to underground Trance sounds.

Whole ep's sounding great so far. 10,000 Ohm though is on another level. Love the build up and then such a satisfying melody to wrap it off. Will definitely grab the vinyl copy.

I like them but wish they were 2-4 bpm slower, like 136-138 or something similar. The UTE records are always very fast and ravey, which I am not always attracted too.

yeah, kind of agree, but theres worse extremely speedy ravey trance.

10.000 ohm (and the others aswell) is almost exactly how i like a trance production though. tight, punchy, raw, flowing. Everything is clear and clean but towards being more muted/warm/lofi and not overly prounounced. Overall I do miss a bit of originality or charachter to the tunes, they are rather anonymous to me. Nothing really sticks out in terms of raw musicality and originality. Still though, pretty nice. Theres def things to like about it.

10.000 ohm really reminds me of x.dreams sound alot, but also somehting else around 95-97.
