‘Alternative Sphere’ is a truly beautiful piece of music – breathtaking really – which will take you into an alternative sphere of emotions. Take in the melody, feel how it’s transporting you to a magical place of bliss. If music had a scent, it would smell of fresh grass and spring blossoms.

Does sound like a ~2006 banger. I'm missing some details here but overall I'm enjoying it. Might be because it's early in the day so my cynicism hasn't woken up properly.

That said, it could've been better in a couple of important ways.

Feels like it's missing somethin. Bit empty or not enough to make this stand out against older PVD tracks.

This sounds a lot more like old PVD than 90% of the stuff on the last three albums (except his solo tracks and the MORPH and Bekker collabs). You get the high hats, the triple kick is well placed, the little acids that remind me of OTAB. The melody is not something that would make you think of Paul, but rather Activa it must be said though. Still, it's similar to the mid 2000s VANDIT sound no doubt. The piano is a nice touch although the breakdown is way to soft and quiet with just the piano build-up, musically there's not much happening there

Even these tracks you get once in awhile that are decent from the old names seem to always be a shadow of their former selfs. Tbh I dont think any of the "old" producers will ever create aything magical again.
