Happy trance track I made just for fun during pandemic days, but I keep coming back to it.
Any feedbacks will be greatly appreciated, especially for the mixing.

Nice. Instantly liked the bassline and general balance between percs and other elements. The atmospheres and sounds you've used are also really nice, and its generally in a style that I just love. I listened and enjoyed the track a number of times.

Although I really like all the invidual elements you use in the breakdown sometimes I think they kind of clash harmonically or feel a bit awkward. For example the vocal atmos I think can work well, but at certain points it feels out of melodic sync (mostly towards the end of the sample when its higher). Its possible the synth melody and basseline are also a bit awkward together sometimes. Around 5:40 its all togeter and feels not quite right to me.

The melody is quite cool and simple though, and actually an oldschool pattern and feel. It does become a little repetitive after a while, either because it inherently in its structure, or the fact it loops for quite a long time without anything really mixing it up. I have a feeling its the pattern itself, which maybe needs a little variation to give it better lifespan over multiple minutes.

Its really great to see you share your work here. Would love to release one of your tracks one day, especially if this is the kind of style you are putting out there.

Thanks man. Will take a look on it

Did the melodic elements (vocal, pads, synth melody, basspad) also sound awkward to you in the breakdown?
I'm currently suspecting the main bassline and the pads

Atmosphere at the start is great.

That mid bass stab at 0.13 and later. Absolutely beautiful plus its interaction with the similar toned mellow acidy stab.
I love it that for the listener they layer and sometimes (and in a good way) it’s hard to know which sound you just listened too. Creates a nice relationship if that makes sense.

Melody I’m liking at 1.52 but could jump out more over the mix but it’s lovely. TDR nova might help… but this could just be left as is.. just my personal taste.

The bass overall follows the track wonderfully, like the way it subtly doesn’t always sound precise pitch wise… I’ve had this by accident on tracks I’ve made and stuck to it. Or sometimes a note just sounds nicely slightly off even tho it’s the right note etc.

The vocals choirs and spoken word are sweet.

The lead starting around 3.50 is lovely the way the sound changers (filter alterations etc) throughout is very fitting.

Haven’t mentioned drums. Nothing stood out in any kind of problematic way… all sounds aptly smooth & nice. All good I’d say.

Had to skip back and forth to get time stamps etc but look forward to continuing listening to this.

Yes, thats when it begins. It could indeed be the baseline.

I still think the vocal is not fitting perfectly, and contributing to the awkwardness. I think vocal is a good idea, but would like to see a different one maybe

I really have nothing to add - put a little mixing on it and it's ready. I'm very much liking it!
