Pretty decent for modern prog. Lacks something for me though, and has some slightly cliched elements. dont fancy the kick/hats/bassline combo that much. its too dry/snappy/clean and has no charachter to it . its typical "bigroom" prog techno percs really. the break is nice but feels out of place, and the drop to only bassline plus some fills is very non-satisfactory to me.

Horn sample/sound in xenomorph sounds like the "mother" alarm from Alien once the self destruct button has been enacted. Presume Alien fans see that too ?

Tracks overall are ok but i prefer time tripper. It blends with the break better than xeno. Odd break for me too.

Often skeptical before clicking JOOF releases nowadays but these ones have good energy and style to them. I like the Xenomorph versions more I think and personally dont have any issues with the break. Agree with DS that the dryness is felt and not something I am into.

Enjoyed these - Xenomorph is wonderfully intense, think the Shutdown Mix is my preference. Pipes on Time Tripper gave a lovely vibe, and wasn't expecting the vocal which complemented nicely.

Great release. Love the journey in The Time Tripper. The flute/pipes remind me of Tiesto - Ancient History
