Problems with Youtube embeds

It seems that on multiple occasions, YT embeds on the site refuse to load, with the message 'Video not available'. However, when I copy the link and paste it into another tab, the video loads just fine. Is that just me, or it something that needs to be fixed?

It could possibly be the rules YT has on video playback, where some users set their videos to require you visiting the YT site directly. Will look into it.

Can you show me where this is happening/which video?

I had it with my video as well. I just tried it till it worked. Not sure if it has to do with a short youtu.be link, that may cause issues. Maybe it works only with full youtube.com/fulllink24192 type of URL's.

That could most likely be the case, there is an option for users to disable embeds. One example would be the Aerium and Magnevi remix of Beachbreeze, where the dub mix loads but the original doesn't. Copyright reasons, I presume?

Note what kind of links are you posting, and let me know. Are you posting links with starting time (&t=11s)? The more specific the information is, the easier it is to find (and fix) the problem.

Currently, the forum supports embeds from these kind of links:

youtube.com/watch?v={$id}
youtube.com/watch?*&v={$id}
youtube.com/v/{$id}
youtu.be/{$id}
youtube.com/*/u/*/{$id}
youtube.com/embed/{$id}

There is also a limit to how much embed media you can have in one post, which is currently 5.

I don't think so. They are both online on Youtube, and they both work now on Trancefix as well.

It's something technical with the link. So Gagi's list is good to isolate the issue.

Both links in the Beachbreeze thread seem to be valid. Did you try to post them on the OG TranceFix? Do they work there?
