Productions vs sets

It was worth trying a combined ‘producing’ section, as there wasnt a lot of activity in the dj-sets one.

But I personally dont like it as much as I hoped. (Maybe partly because the forum is pretty busy. Which itself is a good thing of course.)
Therefor I would suggest to split them afterall. While at it, I think they should leave the ‘main’ section, because that one is getting long. With the separate 2008-2019 section added, it will be messy with yet another one.

Also while at it, I suggest making a third ‘producing’ subsection, meant for all other creations you wanna share. For example, I know some of you are designers, etc. Or maybe you’re an amateur photographer.

To sum up: below Main section, a whole new one;

Creative corner
- Trance productions
Share your (demo) track. Get feedback.
- Trance dj-sets
Share your dj-set. Get feedback.
- Other creations
Share anything else you made.

Yeah supporting this. We'd also need to move the existing ones before we delete the existing section, don't forget about that.

Cool, sounds good to me. I'm not sure how needed the other creations section is, although I love the idea of it. Not sure if there would be much to share? Outside of music its only really relevant for designers/artists, which we probably have few of in the forum.

Also I would drop the 'get feedback' part from the ends of the description as it makes it feel like these sections are mainly for that, whereas all sorts of things like just sharing mixes, sharing sample packs, asking general advice, sharing general knowledge is also applicable.

It is indeed more of a "it sounds cool" feature. I also don't know how much it would be used. But if there's a new section with 2... then might as well just add the third...

As for the sub-texts... I just typed something... That's always up for debate I guess for me imporant is that those sections are meant for getting and giving feedback, to improve whatever you made, to learn, to teach.... and not just promote yourself.

Also: I don't like the posts user "speedsound" does in that section. It's just spam for sample packs and stuff.

Even when we split, I wouldn't like them to be in either 'creative' section. It's just spam basicaly. According to our rules any sort of spam/promotion (other than music) isn't allowed.... Where does this sort of stuff belong? The bin?
