So, I have been thinking since I have pissed off a lot of forum owners over the years, ie Armin (by calling him a retard on his forum and he wasn't too happy about it and that closed down) Lashed out at Jono Grant and Paavo, Arksun and Jer at Anjuna forum which pissed off a lot of people, this forum closed down and it wasn't the same after I got banned and also had an altercation with JOOF and with his staff at JOOF forum which also got shutdown. I also pissed off Airwave and the people at Bonzai too which made a couple of people from Bonzai music go to another label to sign which I feel guilty for me. I have decided to make my own radioshow but I am stuck. I am unsure which program to use to mix the tracks the tracks what I think Trance should sound like. I am even thinking of opening a label dedicated to the 90's and 2000's euphoric summer sound which I fell in love with to me

What do you think of this idea?

An idea is the first step.

But you have no experience with deejaying? I'm guessing step 2 would be to learn how it works, how you make nice transitions etc. As for software, Ableton Live is a good one. The "Lite" package is all you need, so the costs aren't that high.

A regular radioshow demands a lot of time, and a lot of music. And, if you care about listeners... promotion... There are hundreds of trance sets made weekly, so it's hard to get a following if you start from scratch. Will you be a happy Progrez if your perfect mix will have 8 listeners after a week?

If you already know how to mix, or you are amazing at it right away, why not concentrate on 1 great mix first? We invited members with mixing desires and skills to create mixes for our Trancefix Radio concept. Maybe that's something for you? The concept gives you complete freedom with your set :)

As for a label... do you happen to know a couple of producers who would be willing to work with you and release (good) music on your label? Starting out with zero, hoping for amazing demos, is imo a very difficult route. This will, just like the radio-show-idea, demand lots of time, and even more promotion.

I think you should piss off more people, for sure.
I have pissed off a lot of people for sure. But why? It's frustrating that none of the people I looked up don't want to listen to me.

I don't care if it has 8 views because I prefer less attention but having too much attention will feed your ego but you forget why you start in the first place.

I am not good at mixing what are some good programs to use to mix?

None of the producers but I do have a few people in mind but on a regular basis is not something why I want to open a music label. I mean look at Mistique Music they have a zillion releases now when they first began it was pure quality which is why I want to focus on quality releases not quantity of course you need to find an even ground.

I think its a great idea.. instead of trying to influence your idols in getting them to do what it is you want them to do, which is futile in the end.... just do it yourself.

become the idol, Marylin manson did so and look how that turned out for him

It saves a lot of pissing off others and a lot of resentment and crap feelings on your part..

as for software, since you're not a proficient live mixer/dj I recommend going for the type of software that allows you to tweak and change things uptill perfection, without having the time pressure of having to do so live. At least for starters

Ableton comes to mind as a nice hybrid since it can do both.. But any somewhat decent DAW will probably do the trick for you.

I'm in no way a Dj myself, yet i've done the odd "guest" mix back in the day simply in Cubase.
