Released in summer but only just found now thanks to a share in the nu-trance (aka "classic") thread. Maybe not my standout from him this year, but enjoyed all of these a fair bit. They all take a while to get going, but when they do its pretty nice. Kitario is a great example. Last part of the track is right up my street. Waiting for Reality quite a pleasant stripped back track too, with the last parts again being very nice. Those two are my pick.

Kitaro

Waiting For Reality

Temporal Aura

All seem to be missing that little something. That said, Kitaro seems to be above the rest.

I appreciate these, but the old early 90s tracks from redeye or cosmic baby and the eye q label artists in this similar style had the music quality to back them up. These have the basic backbone and sound but lack the musical content so to speak. This nu-trance stuff are like alot of other digital age music, its made within a subgenre/style and takes bits and pieces of said subgenre to satisfy a smaller group of people but lacks strongly composed written music. Trance back on the day balanced these two components better.

Very nice. The production sounds more modern than the other releases I saw from him, but not still keeping a lot of nice character. It is slow to move but when it does I feel it. Waiting For Reality is a relaxing prog ride.

Kitaro I my pick. Wish the energized beat in the last 2 minutes was more in the rest of the track because it sounds fucking nice.

Solid release! My personal favorite is Temporal Aura, it's very simple, however the Bassline and groove in it is killer.

I like the bassline of Temporal Aura but that vocal sample needs to be removed.

Interesting you feel like that because I thought it sounded good, and if anything very much needed considering how barebones the whole track is. Phat baseline tho, hope to hear more of that from him in the future. Talented producer Rambal, for me he came out of nowhere and just checked my downloads and got at least 5 of his tracks this year and maybe grab some more.

All of these are nice in their own way. The biggest win is the sound design, in terms of overal enjoyment and sounds chosen. Music wise it’s not the most exciting, but still something I would play again. In the current landscape of progressive it’s near the top, all things considered

Many great tracks from Cochet in 2023, a very busy year. I chose Kitaro as well.
