Re:Locate & Simon Anthony - Skylight [Pure Trance]

Every fan who knows their trance history is aware of Paul Moelands aka Octagen / Re:Locate with an extensive discography that goes back to 2003 on labels like Black Hole, Galactive, Intuition, Armada & Fundamental. Less instantly familiar is Simon Anthony (Amsterdam Trance, Molekular Sounds) but together they are a formidable team & this is their 2nd release on Pure Trance. Debuted by Solarstone at 2024’s Luminosity Beach Festival on the In Search of Sunrise stage, the 132bpm ‘Skylight’ recently featured on York’s mix for the ISOS20 compilation. This is a wonderfully positive sounding record, crisply produced with a fabulous uplifting hook. Vive La Trance!

This was the best track of the latest ISOS compilation, really feels like its from the 2002 - 2006 era. Daysleeper will not agree with is one tho

Obviously not on Palma solace level but we're in 2024 this is a nice throwback to classic Re:locate sound.

The melody in of itself is nice just got a boring/generic production/structure around it. Def doesnt sound like an early 2000s tune. Can hear that from a mile away
