Well, it's pretty hard to compete against the almighty Push, especially the 2000-2002 incarnation!

Going down the breakbeat path was a good choice, it allows to make a very different track. We also get the full vocal, unlike the Push version. And is it me, or do I hear some A&B/Tranquility Base pads/snippets in there? (e.g. the two soft notes at 2:57)

The vocal and beats arent sync very well imo. The timing feels very off. It has a solid dark atmoshpere throughout but have never been a fan of YAMS kinda heavy maximalist production style. Its too packed with reverb and noisey fx
