The CD2 is such a brilliant mix!!! Fantastic stuff!!!!! I miss so much such quality trance & progressive style. The music sounds so fresh but it took me back to good times when I was having great journey with compilations. Very smooth mix, I like the flaw! Some of the tracks could be part of oldschool ISOS!

If Armin was having this CD2 as his CD1 Beach Mix, everyone would praise him and crying from emotions on social media lol.

I need to give more time and listens to the artist album CD1. I have been having some tracks of CD2 on repeat all day after I finished all of it. It may be a classic comp mix for me, time will tell. Now waiting for Activa's too. These two comp will be for sure they highlights of the year. Anjunadeep did a very good job as well this year for its style.

Congrats @Narel @Enlusion, great tracks guys!! They help a lot the mix. (not sure if we have more of producers here being active)

Supported, CD ordered proudly. ^^

Note: I had no idea who Slam Duck is lol. Congrats!!!

I've ordered both together, so the package will first be sent after Activa's been released.
Going to be an interesting comparison, although I'm sure they are very different from each other.

These two will probably be the top Trance compilations of the year.
I normally don't have much expectations, but this time around I do hehe

I was looking forward to this, but I am dissapointed quite a lot. Lots of empty tracks without any ideas at all.
CD1 solid tracks: Aftegrlow, An Ode To Love, Allure, Middle Ages
CD2 solid tracks: Baikal, Flares, On Transgalactic Bridge, Lambda Code 11, What You Cause Will Be

overall 6/10 (which is still nice, but my expectation was so much bigger)

On a quick listen the standout tracks are:
Middle Ages - nice and energetic trancer
Baikal - best from enlusion so far
Vortex - nothing spectacular but a nice vibe
The Glowing Way - interesting synths
Flares - spooky progger from s&t
Reborn - chunky and atmospheric, sad to hear about the artist RIP
What your cause will be - quality as usual from the man

This style of prog is lacking a rawness and groove that characterizes the genre so well in the past. I have only listened to a few samples so I have maybe quick to judge, but it's how I feel often with prog coming from this part of the scene.

Listened to CD2 and found it to be average to be honest. When listening, it kinda just flew by without grabbing my attention. There were 2 or 3 tracks that I might get when the extended version are out, but that's it.

I agree. Though that wasn’t the desired style / the brief for this one. Check out sets by Anthony Pappa from last 3 or 4 years on Mixcloud. Plays that more raw edged stuff but still with atmosphere, melodies, acid. I’m very lucky to be able to catch his sets live regularly.
Fun fact: ‘what your cause will be’ off this comp began life after seeing Pappa live and was intended to be raw and textural. But I couldn’t get it right so went off in a different direction, then ran out of ideas : (
When I got asked by Alex to provide a track to this it gave me a nudge to revisit it : )

People need to start replying to e-mails, there's no other way to get new music from the desired artists. Together with Alex we contacted around 150 artists and got approx 30 replies. Of course we tried to reach out to the best out there and half of the tracks would have been different.

I think its the Vasily Dvortsov who actually passed away

It's Dmitry Esthetique who passed away, you can read that in the very first reply in this topic and check his socials.

Tracklist looks cool! Have not heard from Clameres and Abramasi in a long while! (I'm assuming it's the same Abramasi who did loads of tracks with Urry Fefelove back in the day?). Avenue One always deliver as well! :)

RIP Esthetique.

I enjoyed a lot of tunes on CD2. Avenue One - Glass House and Namatjira - Rountree were my top favorites.
