...Is this the best trance cover of all time....? Maybe. But for me this is the one. Every second of it.
This cover of the eponymous The KLF song is nothing but perfection. It's so well produced that even ~20 years later, still unbeaten. I like to show this 10 minute jewel every time when one talked about covers and remakes by trance artists.
John 00 Fleming once called it the best (trance) remake in the world and there is no way not to 100% agree with him. The massive break in the middle is KLF pure trance (haha), the main melody with its very few glorious vocals is still ....so fucking unreal.
Yes, even in 2025 I cannot praise this Finnish remake / remix enough. Released in late 2006 on Finnish underground label Unity Records.
