Ok, here comes the real treasure from legendary Hooj Choons 😍 And there’s a return of Cass from Cass & Slide duo ❤️

First appearing on Trance Trax 4 in the spring, Snubbelrisk's elegiac 'Snowfield' returns across a spread of new mixes, ready for a slowly approaching autumn.

Nothing slow about the opener here, mind, as Edge Master X adds a healthy dose of techno punch to the original's soaring melodies to create a powerful dancefloor weapon (no one mention "Bus*n*ss Techno").

Canadian heavy hitter Glenn Morrison then steps up with the UK's Jag Limbo for a glitchy, fractured neo trancer, before also going solo for a flowing, big room version of his own.

After a quick decade + long sabbatical spent out in the harsh glare of the real world, Cass ( of 'Cass N' Slide') makes a welcome return to the fold with a pulsing, widescreen, steadily unfolding mix, before Snubbelrisk himself contributes an immersive Ambient remix.

01. Edge Master X Remix
02. Cass Remix
03. Glenn Morrison’s Late Nite Dub
04. Glenn Morrison & Jag Limbo Remix
05. Glenn Morrison & Jag Limbo Edit
06. Cass Edit
07. Ambient Mix

Out now exclusively on Bandcamp :)
Worldwide release: 27th October

Is Hooj back properly? I read some stuff on FB about a limited release schedule, then saw a remix comp' for a Breeder track. Seems they are getting going again. My fav label of all time.

my first reaction was 'wait, Cass as in Cass & Slide? no way'

after checking his remix.. well, you can tell he's got skills but he also isn't in the best producer's shape yet - too much transients, so the whole tune sounds too sharp/snappy. with that sound design I'd appreciate a softer/smother mixdown

they'll tell you they are, give a massive song & dance... then disappear again after one or two releases.

yes, it is true, most of the newest 'Hooj Choons' is a flop!
