Im usually not into this kinda club / bigroom stuff, but this is quite good I must say, I like it.
Absolutely agree - peaks too soon and then has nowhere to go. Whole point of Solarcoaster is that gradual build up to the deployment of that melody. I think remix wise it's peaked with Marsh's remix which was basically perfect for me.

i just mean the kick/percussion/energy doesnt fit with the solar coaster more mellow original vibe. the marsh one does it better but its really boring to me, just ploddy really basic empty percussion in that.
Oh yeah, agree with the kick/perc/energy part too! It's not a track I'd expect/want to be a banger!

if this just leaned into the techno side of things a bit more I'd probably like it, but nah thematically it's a bit too messy for me

It's just Armada marketing though.
People who like Maarten de Jong are very likely to click on a classic with Maarten on it. So that's a stream.
People who don't care about Maarten, but do like the classic, are also likely to click play. So that's another stream.
Armada artists are all remixing all the classics all the time, for that reason only. It's getting boring though, as the remixing artist is getting predictable (always the same Armada-people), and remixing the same classics all the time (those that are Armada licensed).

Terrible - im pretty sure any bedroom producer couldve made this - just change the original to a generic kick and perc loop.
