I feel bad for Matt Fax. After tonight he hasn't got a chance of being remembered fondly for creating this barely twice-listenable remix of a classic.

All thanks to Twinkly Van Fuckflaps deciding to bring in what sounded like a jar of farts ricocheting around the room as the lead singer from La Roux grunted her way through a heavy period.

Really love the breakdown. It uses those famous sirens, but uses them in a way that makes them feel totally different. Very nice work.

But it's only played for two minutes, then it's already switched.

What sucks most is the "transition", 100% awful. Armin just stops the track, puts in an ASOT voice over, and starts the breakdown from track 2. Terrible!!!

That "No fun" track at least has a good title. Crap track, blah blah lyrics, sucky EDM synths, it's no fun. One of the worst ever from Armin.

Stop supporting asot please
Full support from me. Still the best trance show out there...

about the remix, its actually quite fine...the melody and the track itself is way too overplayed, so one listen for me is enough, but generally speaking its quite nice, chilled, Matt added some new elements...

Matter of taste man, no need to be offensive...
ASOT is one of the big reasons trance isnt fresh or good. As long as they have monopoly over the scene trance stays stagnated. "they" have way too much control.

I dont believe why its still relavant and why poeple support it. Where is the demographics, i dont get it,

Not a fan of this remix too.

I just have to say Matt brings some brilliant and sweet progressive house in general in Enhanced and Colorize labels.

Would love to hear a remix of it based on those sirens only, without the main melody.

I got your point BUT without Asot there would be no trance scene at all, only the underground would remain....plus majority of ther tracks posted here are supported on the show as well. Also Asot is one of the biggest trance festival that allows the comunity come together and support what we like. Ruben and Armin are doing pretty good job in selecting tracks from various genres, they both have solid aknowledgement of the scene and sometimes they have guests from various style, including techno, house etc... its also good if you wanna stay informed about whats going on on the trance scene...you will not find such interesting information anywhere....

Of course its maybe way too much influential and producers are very often trying to copy the stupid Armin style (Helmy, Popov etc.), but well, I still think that without Asot there would be a missing piece, a huge hole

I do not agree with any of that but fair enough. If you said this in 2005-6 or 7 I would agree more, but now, not at all.

ASOT just took over Trance Energy, making sure big artists were exclusvily available for ASOT, therefor Trance Energy had to evolve into a trance-less future.

The world didn't stop after ID&T stopped with Trance Energy, which was the biggest most holy event in the world for trance lovers at that point.

It only teaches us that something else will take it's place. If ASOT stops, something else will fill it's space.

It would be good for the genre if something else popped up, besides, or replacing, ASOT events.
