Love the work of Talla 2XLC and been impressed with his remixes of the classics over recent years, but this one not so much.

It's a decent production, but I guess I was hoping for something more exceptional. This remake that he has done with Lost Witness doesn't follow the same melodies, and even the vocal has been changed (not hitting the same notes). So altogether, I'm a bit disappointed. Could have been so much better.

What do you think?

This is a much better rework that Lost Witness did himself a few years ago

I have yet to hear a good tune from the Trance Adaptations Lacking Love Association since 2011, which was the dub mix of "I Know", made by Andreas Schmidt. My Talla favourite is probably "Shine" in 2010, also made by Andreas Schmidt. The latter is truly beautiful.

Lange's remix of Red Sun Rising will always reign supreme, so in my opinion it's not worth trying to take it on unless you're doing something massively different. This Talla project of meddling with vintage tracks is to me coming across as an attempt for his name to be forever associated with other people's finest works.

This tune that he released last year was superb.

I enjoy most of his remakes/remixes, but this one was lacking. Maybe I expected too much.

This post deserves a +1 purely for that Talla acronym explanation! <3

This is quite funny, because Lost Witness nowdays = James Dymond and most of the Talla tracks are also done by him, so this is basically Dymond remixing Dymond, as for the track, its rather generic
