DJ Taucher is such an important producer in trance and has produced and remixed so many wonderful works. One of those is Waters which came out in 1996. Hard to believe it's 25 years old, it sounds so fresh.

Various mixes were released but it's all about the phase 2 mix, which has a two minute intro and when the beats kick in, BOOM. It's so wonderfully layered as a musical composition.

Most youtube videos call this the phase 3 mix but the most recent releases on beatport say it's 2 so I'll go with that. Incidentally you can pick up the remastered track on beatport which sounds even more mega. Enjoy!

The tune was mega super huuuge back in the days. I wonder why is it not included in the hall of fame of trance music and nobody really cares about it anymore..

'Waters' was played by Sasha some years ago in his Boiler Room mix @ 41:00

Ha! I knew you'd like it! You do like your 90s German trance and this is up there with the best.

I think it featured on one of the Northern Exposure albums so I'm not surprised that Sasha played it in that set.

If I had to guess, this track probably suffered due to the popularity of the other Taucher tracks (Atlantis, Ayla remix), so it was never up for consideration in the DJ mixes of old.
I like it - it's pretty dreamy and spacey.
