These do sound nice, but subtle melodies? Really? Most of them sound very simple - some in a good, and some in a not-so-good way.

I like Arrival the most.

Arrival is nice. Would be way better if it had time to develop musically.

The 3 minute tracks is the result of the Spotify era and the dwindling attention spans of the new generation. When income is tied directly to play counts and algorithms (which favor short tracks) this is what happens. Can't blame Temple One for going that route, and its not like good music is exclusive to long tracks..... but Trance/Prog especially is about the journey, the build and release tension, thats why for decades the average length is 8 minutes as that what it requires.

I just can't get friendly with 2-3 min edits on a Trance album

Going for income in this style of music?
That's pretty much mutually exclusive.

The income difference will be negligible, but the journey is lost...

No matter, if most of them sound very simple. But music is the space between the notes
Listen to his old tracks, you will find something unique, but perfect fit. "Love the fear", ...

One of my favourite producers. I met him recently also. However, this album didnt blow me away. There is no standout track or mindblowing track. All of them are kind of an okay-ish. Im missing tracks like Magic Moment or Found Love In Me. Which would have been a nice peak for such album. He should have released an album two years ago and it would be a smasher.

I disagree on some points. For artists, releasing a new album is like marking a new chapter in their career, marking a stage in their career. It has a different meaning. The way you listen to an album is not the same as the way you listen to singles.
Magic Moment is good, Another Hope is good too. But my favorite from him of all time is "Around The World", "Daybreak", "Love The Fear", and so many tracks I cant list enough. His sound is very smooth, and balance ;)

Short length sucks but I will give it a try. Temple One is one of the better producers form the modern uplifting scene in my eyes, but has been a little hit and miss for me over the past few years. Some samples doe sound nice.

Despite the short length, a rather enjoyable album.

I was actually more impressed by the downtempo/progressive tracks. Arrival and Tyrian Sun in particular showcasing the lush synthwork and melodies he is capable of creating.

The uplifters were a tad too generic per his usual standard. The sound design and melodies were all too predictable and safe. Love Has Gone has got some pretty nice vocals.
