huh the last time I heard term 'neo-trance' was mid 2010s before that genre became 'melodic techno'

this is something totally different, I can imagine stuff like that on Monstercat for example. and no that's not my thing, at all, I prefer more space in between the kickdrums, this is where the music lies

I feel like that fits better with nightcore/vocaloid music, but honestly the line between "neo trance" and all the genres mentioned in this thread is blurry

Most of the tracks here sounds like minimal tech and happy hardcore

Holy shit.
Although this genre doesn't do much that is original, I do enjoy the execution of their trancier tracks.

nuphory - timescape feels like a hard trance track from 2005 - the kind that got me into trance in the first place
