By definition, what are those Timeless trance tracks that never get old?

A timeless song is one that transcends eras, trends, and generations. It feels as fresh and relevant today as it did when it was first released

Starting from : Icon - Desire (Icarus Mix) [1994]

Thats a nice track but if youre going for the definition of timeless still sounding 'fresh'...then that one sounds dated and you know its a early 90s track hehe.

Id have to go for something like Chicane - Saltwater.
Second that, the entire behind the sun album by the way

Different take, for me timeless means not something sounding fresh, but something you can look back 10, 20, 50...x years later and be like this still sounds and feel amazing. Like classic music from 200 years ago...

Well yeah i agree, but im just going off that definition in the first post.

Theres also tracks which were absolutely years ahead of their time...like Li Kwan - Point Zero.

This actually can easily be mistaken for a 2000 release, sounds amazing.

Adding to the list of timeless classic which can be almost anything from the 90s to be fair :)

For me this is one of the best representations of 90s freedom, rave and dance music. Songs like this embody (most likely) the best decade for electronic music:

I like your choice. Musically and technically excellent. It doesn't sound dated in any way. A unique vibe.

Hmm. I'm going with.... BT - Flaming June [1997]. It sounded massively ahead of its time when released, and it absolutely still stands up now.

I was somewhat excited when Orkidea dropped this into his vinyl mix at Fabric a couple of years back.

Flaming June was largely down to Paul van Dyk's production on it - his late 90's stuff really was ahead of its time in terms of quality and crispness.
