Twenty years ago, Trance had it's fourth greatest year in it's history. 1997, 1999 and 2000 were all phenomenal and 2004 was to be more of the same. It seems like pretty much every track coming out was pure gold and very exciting. Armada's "take over" was well under way but the music being signed was next level. Armin was untouchable, Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk & Ferry Corsten right behind. Even Tiesto played the odd decent track (not Dennis's remix of Adagio which is to this day, an abomination).
