To be honest, I still like Epic Trance and all but I've kind of got tired of extremely long breakdowns, so I was kind of hoping you could give me some recommendations of proper Trance tracks without extremely overly long breakdowns that tend to cut the energy out of a track and to make a clear definition of what I would consider to be a short breakdown, I'll set the cut-off point at circa 1m:15s which is the equivalent to more or less 40 bars music-wise. Of course, I already know of many tracks with considerably short breakdowns such as the one I'm going to post here but if you could give me some other recommendations, I would definitely appreciate it.
By the way, I've chosen this one as the main example for this thread because not only its breakdown is quite short, not even reaching one full minute but also the build-up until the breakdown is quite long, it's four minutes and a half, more or less, I really appreciated that because not only I'm a sucker for long tracks but I'm also a sucker for this kind of tracks which focus the most on the atmosphere rather than on the breakdown itself and I think that's something more producers should be doing lately.
