Watching music streams is a bit of a contradiction, am I supposed to listen to the music or watch his next move?
I have found that I can't do both. Anyway , video streams are new and all the legacy shows have all been audio only. Van Buuren, Schulz, Van Dyk
have all created legendary shows with no visual clue what they do or even what they look like. Ever since ASOT went video , the tracks have shortened a lot and they are bringing more and more distractions where it's hard to listen to the music.
There is two main problems with video streams:
1. They make the viewer focus on visual and surpass the audio
2. They make performer cut down on patience and cut the music tracks that used to 6 to 7 minutes at least down to 3 and 4 minutes because the performer wants to do something because of the video stream instead of letting you listen to the audio that builds and maintains.
There is no way that these guys will play 10 minute classics on their show and stand there doing nothing.
This is something that had been on my mind and on my nerves for a while.
