This type of uplifting trance because it's nicer on the ears the degga degga trance that a lot of people were tired of back then.

In into a bit of poprock last couple of days. I like it more than dance (genres) during the renovating.

Soooo I go with Avril Lavigne - Sk8er Boy
Nothing cheesy with that song I grew up with complicated as well and I am with you as well.

I don't like calling anything a guilty pleasure, I own my taste in music. I find in the trance community there's sometimes a bit of snobbery around pop music which I've never understood. I can listen to Miley, Taylor swift and Dua Lipa all fuckin day. Also a hill I will die on is that I believe k pop is the most sonically polished genre going

There’s a very good reason it’s pop, aka popular.

it’s the genre arguably most atuned to human ears, and more often then not brilliant in its simplicity

This is a really succinct way of putting it. Most people aren't into niche underground stuff, hell most people are fairly casual in their music taste. I have a theory that that's why rock & roll will always be the biggest thing ever, like you say its simplicity. All it ever needs to be is a bass, lead guitar, drums and a vocal and nothing more

The singer is absolutely gorgeous
She unfortunately died at age 33 in 2010.

Ann Vervoort left Milk Inc in 2000, and was replaced by Linda Mertens. They look kinda similar, I guess lot of people wouldn’t know Linda isn’t the singer in the first few Milk Inc hits, like In My Eyes and Inside Of Me.

Really? Shit I thought it was Linda this whole time in the video because I saw a photo of Linda thinking that it's her And Ann changed a lot over the years if that's really her in the music video.

This woman claims to do have done the vocals for Ann, who “couldn’t really sing”.

When Linda came, Linda does more vocals, but some of the chorus in Walk on Water and Land of the Living are hers. After these singles, it was only Linda (She says)

I never knew that before either 😂

Dutch, but I’m sure you can google translate if you want.

I'll have listen to those albums after 2000's when Linda joined. Upside down eats everything sampled this as well but these guys really did an amazing job
