Thinking of deleting my account for the forum....
It doesn't feel te same as some years ago.
It looks like that this forum is not the place where I can find my taste of trance anymore

Why do you say that? What can we do to change your mind? What kind of trance are you looking for? No one is stopping you from posting them in the upcoming forum. Most of the uplifting stuff produced post 2009 is not for me they are poorly produced but you know I don't need to repeat myself.Thinking of deleting my account for the forum....

Where are you staying? Melbourne or Sydney. I found Sydney to be pretty crap to be honest. Perth was beautiful especially the hot women near the beaches.

Yeah it's gonna be Sydney, my wife has way more job opportunities there and it's central to all the people I already know out there. As for the hot women, I shall take your word for that and see if Mrs facade is open to a three way. Probably not but you can always ask

Pondi (Different from Bondi) has also opened up in West Sydney in Penrith as well.

Came back from a short but lovely hike in the nearby mountain. Around 3h and 15.5km overall, with 425m of total ascent. So in essence, we hiked in flat ground speed, 5km/h, just like when I'm walking in the city. I've impressed myself.

It looks like that the majority of the members here have a different taste in trance then I do.
I prefer the faster paced 138 BPM trance like Bryan Kearney, XiJaro & Pitch, Darren Porter.
Just to give some examples.
But everytime when I post a track from certain producers/DJ's or certain labels.
Like my last topic: Damus & Lyd14 - Una Tantum Vita.

People are just calling it garbage "Heard it a 1000 times before".
Yes..... That is what you get when you listen to music for your whole life!
Because I also have that when I put on the radio.
Only a few tracks really stand out!
But you can still enjoy the "Heard it a 1000 times before"-tracks....
And yes... I do listen to many of the unknown tracks posted in UR.
But 95% doesn't appeal me.
But instead of posting "Garbage" on every topic.
I just ignore the post.
I don't want to ruin the vibe of other members who do like the track.
And I had this thought already last year!
I will give it a long thought.... Will lurk for the coming weeks.
And then decide what I will do

will be a sad day to lose a fellow dutchy on the forum, especially given your deviatiion in taste from the Unde0rgrOOND TW4nce! scene, which i think always adds nice perspective
But if its genuinly something that weighs you down instead of uplifts and you decide to leave becasue of that...., I bid you a very fond farewell

Even as a forum admin and an inspiration to you all, I've also thought of leaving in the past - for three reasons:
1. the music I was seeing all the time was not something I liked
2. when I'm extremely busy with very little "relax" time, a commitment to do something for this forum hung over my head like an axe, introducing additional stress
3. wanting to move away from the online world
Why I didn't leave:
1. the diversity in the UR section has increased a lot (and I would even dare to use the word quality)
2. my other two bundles of joy understand this, and we found solutions that wouldn't always need to be reliant on my input and availability
3. just decrease the usage, no cold turkey needed
The cool thing about the first reason I didn't leave is that since there is more diversity, there is less underlying need for me to click on tracks I know I won't like and then comment negatively because I wasted my time. I sort of know what I might like, I choose that. We also decreased the number of new threads created, so better stuff should be the one that gets posted since the users are now forced to be picky.

Just this forum has a different taste then me!
I find my music on other places!
And many people like you who just come in topics and say their opinion.....
With an attitude like: This is the ONLY valid opinion... Everyone who likes the track is just plain stupid!
The old Trancefix community was much more friendly towards other peoples taste!
Now it is just a bunch of kids shouting CRAP, GARBAGE, GENERIC.... SHIT.....
So I don't feel that this is my place!
I was giving it a few weeks.... But I think it will be less
