Another fun thing that I developed: dry skin! I started getting weird cuts on my fingers randomly. Sure, I'm clumsy, but I'm not a dumbass that would hit myself on something sharp and cut myself, right?

...

Turns out my dry hands were causing the problem. Put some moisturizing cream, and that prevented the cuts for the next couple days. I haven't even used the cream in a few days, and still haven't felt any cuts recently.
Part of life man, I have plenty of scars all over. Dry skin does happen when washing your hands with certain type of hand soap especially during winter and autumn. it happens to me too hence why I switch to a more natural soap and it made a big difference as well. The ones being sold at Kmart, or Walmart in your case are cheaply made and they put chemicals which are not healthy.
I forgot to follow up. Turns out that the contact was no longer in my eye. I just had a slight scratch in my eye (in other words, an open wound), which is why I thought something was there. Got some ointment and eye drops, and now I'm feeling better

When I put on the contact lenses, I do feel them itchy and uncomfortable if I failed to soak them in enough contact lens solution, or if my eyes are dry (which is why you also need to use eye drops)
Tried eye drops it didn't help me at all hence why I didn't get them and also felt like my eyes were being pulled when I had them.

I realized that I kind of fell out of love with trance. Had that thought for a while. I no longer keep up with upcoming releases, and tbh haven't checked out many of the good trance tracks from the last ten years.
I'm still here because of the community, especially our political discussions @Jetflag hahaha but in general I have nothing to do with trance or even EDM these days...

It was good contributing to this forum when it re-started back in 2020, re-exploring many of the brilliant classics that made me like trance. Many of those were the background music of my high school years and first year in college.

I think it's time to hang up my headphones and wave trance goodbye. It's not the first time I've taken a break - @Progrez might remember when I once left to go listen to American pop music -, but I don't see myself being involved here anymore.

Greg meeting you, @Jetflag, @Archon, @Progrez, and @Bobby Summa . I wish you all the best, and that you may continue enjoying trance classics (or modern trance!) for many years to come.

Cheers ~

All the best man! and yes I do remember. I hope you do change your mind though. Stay safe and drive slowly and watch out for that Tesla cars of the lithium not blowing up.

@dmgtz96 You're not leaving the forum, I hope?

I get you, I have those periods as well. Sometimes they last for months. I had an aversion for anything that was not purely creative (sometimes exclusively early 90s) trance that lasted for quite a while. All the classic uplifters from mid 00s and so on were a no-no.

But guess what - a few days ago I remembered DJ Governor's Red Woods, and enjoyed the living hell out of it for a few days.

It's gonna come back to you, I'm certain of it.

But even if it doesn't, enjoy whatever music makes you happy, sad, angry, cheerful, melancholic, euphoric... That's the most important thing.

Hope you reconsider staying. Been great having you here!

I am thinking of using Sora (when it gets released to the public) to recreate my old shows and creating new stories for them using ChatGPT or Stargate Atlantis the possibilities are endless.

all the best man, I really enjoyed our back & forths on political topics. It taught me a lot and gave me some valuable insights
🙏

Taking a "music" holiday was something I did back in the day, focussing more on ska/ rock. and playing in a band. I highly recommend it really.. Its a genuine experience leaving behind a genrea and maybe revisiting something later on. It kept me at least from growing "bitter" at trance or its scene for the most part.

I will, if you're interrested at least, leave you a link to the mexican acid "thingy" i'm working on in the PM, for which thanks again by the way. You've given me quite the creative nut to crack.

I had quite a big trance pause with Avicii and Swedish House Mafia kind of music.

And I still have periods where I listen to a lot of 90’s or 00’s, mostly dance genre related, but also Backstreet Boys and Britney or Avril Lavigne or what not.

I also like some rock stuff, silly Eurovision songs. Celine Dion.

It doesn’t have to be trance all the time.

You will be back. We will be here.

I wonder if there is a Strong relation to trance music and the music of ancient tribes that used to use drumming and chanting to execute rituals and induce trance states. I’m keen to explore the positive ones. I’m sure some could be a bit dark, some, very dark. But hopefully not many. Perhaps Native American tribes would be a good place to start exploring. I’ve always felt this but obviously the overall music is quite different in sound, but the beat / rhythm is often similar is it not?

There are musicians who make that kind of stuff. Steve roach and Byron Metclaf.

Finally got rid of twitter. It was so negative and toxic and way too graphic and some of the graphics stuff being shown there were too graphic for me and have scarred me as well.

Really Strange. Yesterday this card was by where my car was parked in my road.

Today, I got out my car and randomly found a similar area to park (it’s a big road but was very full). Got out my car and it was there again. A good omen? I’ve lately very much been wondering who I am (in a self reflection sense).

Looks like a man hole for electricity or elecommunications.

In other news I am in the process of collecting old equipment and software they used to use back in the 90's and 2000's to create those warm sounds.

My shipment from US must've gotten through every USPS facility there is (somewhere even twice). How long does it take to send a simple international letter on a fucking plane? How hard can it be??

Sometimes I think about quitting producing music or resting it on a shelf for now and see if it comes again later in life. Then I listen to some tune I’ve made (or likely started but not finished) and I’m like, nah I ‘think’ I’m doing okay at this. With any luck Il get there.

I started remodeling my bathroom, and my mind is consumed with thoughts of building materials, tiles, and everything else related to the project. Additionally, I think it's important to get in touch with fiberon decking customer service and discuss future deliveries. Planning ahead ensures a smooth renovation process and having reliable suppliers like Fiberon can make all the difference in achieving the desired results.

Was doing a certain kind of meditation, establishing some kind of connection. Then I see (in my mind) a badger.

still reading?

i was (i think) looking at a wall with a taxidermy example on the wall of the head and part of the body of a badger)
Or maybe it was just running through the wall, like you do 🤔

I like honey badgers and they are a point of humour in our family. Because they’re almost indestructible, so small but can win a fight with anything and withstand any venomous snake bite.
So il assume I saw a ‘Honey’ badger in my meditation. ( I didn’t see it for long).

I found this. Il take that as a spirit guide then (most of it anyway) 😆
