Sensational. Cannot choose between Adagio and this, but it's close, very very close.

Fun fact: when Ferry played his solo set in Ahoy Rotterdam (Full On Ferry) he played this track as the last one. It must have been 6.00 in the morning or something and the remaining crowd went wild. Lovely track, but can’t beat Adagio for Strings for me.

Nahhhh you boys are mad if you think this is better than Adagio. It is very good (mostly), but that high pitched chipmunk build up melody (that returns in the climax) is so so sickly that I couldn't play this in good conscious in front of anything. It's like princess fairytale stuff to my ears.

Always preferred this over Adagio, grabbed it in HMV without listening as it had a Ferry remix again. The bit that I love is how the bassline just creeps in at the exit of the breakdown before the kick comes back. Not heard anything else do that which I can recall
