I've seen a lot of great bands over the years, my first girlfriend was a big metal head and we saw ill nino, paramore, newfound glory, die so fluid and avenged sevenfold together who were all great. one of the best concerts i've ever been to though was foo fighters at western springs, new zealand along with tenacious D. "everlong" is just plain one of my favourite songs of all time

Saw System of a Down last night in San Francisco. Fucking unreal, definitely the best rock band I've ever seen and probably best live act of the last 20 years. So hyped I got to see them twice this year. Whatever the cost I'll be going to the next one. Never heard them play Mr Jack before, was so good.

Mr Jack

Also got to see Deftones support them, they are sweet too.

Mark Lanegan has such an amazing voice, and often his band Screaming Trees was overlooked in the grunge era. He was also one of the founders of Queens of the Stone Age, vocalist on many of their tracks when Josh Homme was not singing. Even more overlooked is Lanegan's solo albums, which are amazing. Whiskey of the holy Ghost is a great album worth checking out.

Pendulum

Carnival

That second track really reminds me of Porcupine Tree @Jetflag

Bark At The Moon by Ozzy is my fave rock tune, but near enough everything on V-Rock in GTA Vice City is good!
