I'm gonna do another one of these as I enjoy seeing the opinion and tracks shares in the forum. Armin has good back-catalogue with a wide range of styles. I'm sure we will get a big mixture of top tracks.. When making this thread I went back through my collection and was very impressed with how good some of his tracks were, some of the best I've ever heard actually. I would also give him credit at being the best pop trance artist we got in the scene (2008-2012). Some of his chart hitting vocal hits are actually enjoyable, even for an old snobbish prog dweller like myself.

Picking out the top 5 for Armin is interesting because he has a lot of excellent tracks yet IMO very few that truly "stand out" head and shoulders above the rest. If I had to pick, and being truly honest about my taste:

Ooh that's gonna be hard for me, as he's one of the artists whose discography I've explored extensively. This is like the opposite perspective on Armin and how I went about the list, haha. In my case I just thought, "okay, what are the tracks I've heard the most from him?"
The only track I don't hear regularly is Dido, but I remember being blown away by it when I first heard it. Had a fairly difficult time finding track #5, actually.

Definitely interested in seeing your list!

I always liked his remixes more than his originals, with some exceptions. He had a signature remix style for a period and I thought he always managed to take already good tracks and give them more power and uplifting feelings.

Well given that those remixes are better than the Original Mixes and for instance make the track as good as I feel it is, I have to consider all the remixes just as I consider his remixes of other tracks.
