Hi everyone! It's time to reveal the 2nd single of the album campaign. In a few weeks we'll release "Awaken Your Passion", a collab with Nick Simmons, known as Narel with his wonderful Pure Trance and Forescape releases.

@Narel usually produces a more slower progressive kind of sound, but he had a wish of doing a classic inspired track together. Just like me, he loves the old anthemic stuff from the likes of Svenson & Gielen and Rank 1. The inspirition for our track 'Awaken Your Passion' is quite obvious. For us, it's a celebration of that big synth sound. An ode to our hero's from the past. They are responsible for what is now our passion.

As a bonus, we also add 'Eclipsia', a solo Julian Del Agranda track. 'Eclipsia' shows a slightly darker side of me. Still taking you back to the era of big trance anthems from around the early 00's, but there's a bit more mystery and roughness found in this one. Be ready to pump up the volume!

Sounds like Rank 1 - Awakening. 🤣
But I love those big supersaw hooks.
I suggested we call it ‘Awakened’ but after some discussion and inclusion of the vox sample it got changed to ‘Awaken your passion’, still being a nod to Rank 1 ‘Awakening’ which it most definitely is! Some Cygnus X ‘Supersting’ going on too.
I had a huge amount of fun making this and working with Jan.

good thing that it's a cool tune so I don't have to be a dick about it

liking how those supersaw chords break the rhythmic pattern halfway the full melody cycle, without that little trick it would've been boring

For the style it's done well and sound design is very nice, but personally can't handle these big stabby cheesy main hooks. Everything up until that point I really liked.

Not a fan of this :) It has a nice beat, oldschool sound, but thats about it :) I usually like supersaw a lot :) But this sounds like a weak copy of Rank1. The melody is mediocre, sorry for honesty

Cmon mate. Always having to be negative in every single interaction on this site? Exhausting for a lot of people. I don't mind too much ripping into tracks here and there, but you got to bring more to the table yh?
cmon mate, always having to take my comments seriously? exhausting for the most of me

Thank you for the positve replies so far guys.

I've now uploaded a preview of the second track that is part of this single release, which will be out on July 24th.

The track 'Eclipsia' is one of the earliest productions for the album. It's a bit more on the darker side of 'anthemic trance', with an unorthodox melody line that is actually not "in key", which gives it that slightly awkward haunting kind of vibe. I personally really like it.
