"Eclipsia" sounds more interesting than "Awaken Your Passion." It has a very authentic, old-school sound. Usually, when people try to imitate the old school these days, you can still tell, but here I’d say it’s spot on

Prefer Eclipsia as well. Good melody and vibe.

Awaken Your Passion unfortunately doesn't move me too much.

Really enjoying both of these. I wonder where that sample is from originally on Eclipsia? I remember hearing that 'Total Eclipse' in the named track by Mark Sherry, must be from a movie though but my brain is not providing the answer. Will pick these both up on release. Lovely.

Thank you 🙏🏼☺️

The vocal is cut from an old news story that I found on YouTube, where they talked about an upcoming eclipse. I already called the track Eclipsia, so i deliberately tried to find something about an eclipse! 😁

Ah thanks, good to see it's on Bandcamp too. Also, just like we did with The White Isle... the price for a track on Bandcamp is only € 1.

Not because we think it's 60 times less valuable than certain tracks that are € 60, but because I think it's nice that owning music is accessible for everyone. 🤷‍♂️ ;)
Is the artwork the silhouette of your head?

Eclipsia is great! You really nailed the good old trance sound :) Now this release is very interesting for me all together :)

Disappointed with the collab with Narel. I had hoped the more serious side of Narel's writing would combine with the well crafted classic sound design of Julian, but I don't hear his influence or style present. Track is too cheese for my personal taste.

Eclipsia is much better. At the borders of my preferences, but if in the mood I can get behind it.

I made the bass, all the percussion, the pads in the first breakdown and the square Osc hook.
Jan wrote the lead riff and made the synth sound for it, I added a couple of notes in some of the chords. He made the phasey hook.
I did the mixdown, automation and arrangement with Jan reviewing and me changing things around in response.
So though it doesn’t sound like it, I did have a lot of involvement and deliberately made sounds like Jan does.
I spent my late teens and 20’s in Gatecrasher, Passion, Godskitchen and Progress from 1998 when this stuff was all new. But by the time I started releasing my own music it was a bit tired so I wasn’t drawn to making it. Now in my 40’s 🫣😳 I had the chance to make a track with those sounds, with an absolute master of that style; so I grabbed it and I love it.
