POB - The Essence (incl. Clanger, Granny, Northface Remixes) [Seismic - 1993]

[NameLessYet]

I have listened to lot of Platipus music this month, it's hard to say whether I am lucky. I am lucky enough to dive into the 500+ songs within months, but I have missed the era of Platipus by 20 years, I even wasn't born at those years.

Back to the track, when I look into the thread about percussions, it reminds me of this. I think the percussion is warm and raw as discussed. What do you think? @LostLegend @Hensmon @Jetflag @Magdelayna @Progrez @erickUO @Archon

Original Mix 1993 - Seismic Records

Clanger Remix 1993 - Seismic Records

Granny Remix 1997 - Seismic Records

Northface Remix 2002 - Platipus

great share! the 'Clanger Remix' is the most popular one, but for me, the 'Original Mix' aka 'Seismix' is the winner!

[Progrez]

I will check these out tomorrow

Original Mix is my favourite too.

I like how the percs (bongos) in the Original, Northface, and Granny versions add rhythmic and tonal flavor to the track. But warm or not, if it works, it works

Northface all the way. Still does not compare by any means to this works on Pied Piper label.
