Familiar motif. I can’t say anything bad or good about the track it’s clearly below his level
It's just the typical 5 notes per bar progression with 3/4 time signature, probably the most boring thing ever melody structure wise in trance tracks. sound design work and mixing are very basic and sloppy too. I don't understand how someone with MIKEs experience could be satisfied with that bullshit

It's the path of least resistance for him that's why. That entire set hurt my head so I stopped.

It’s a bit ‘happier’ than his regular tracks, but that makes it unfortunately a bit cheesy for me. I always consider MIKE’s best records the doom and gloom trance tracks haha.

Well, its better than his template techno tracks with sounds from the soundbank thats like 6 years around, but its a bit cheesy, with no signature Push sound at all...BUT at least something I can listen to a few times and maybe a step into a more trancy direction? who knows, its not as bad as some of you stated here
5/10

I kinda like it to be honest. At least he didn't go for a cliché 'modern trance' techno beat or 138-steroid beat. So that's good to see. The synth sound used on that main melody isn't standard either. All in all not really my cup of tea, but I appreceate the effort.

Not bad but not outstanding. For a regular producer producing like this is totally fine, but I would've never guessed out it's Push unless someone had told me that.

If I ever get this complacent just fuckin throw me in the trash

Not sure what this means but most of us arnt fit to lace his boots.....in the top 3 Trance producers of all time for me. I keep discovering great tracks of his from his massive discography ....Absolute - Now & Ever is a prime example, totally underrated and unmentioned...but a track 99% of producers would dream to make.

It means this track is low effort and lazy, which I wouldn't normally mind but like you said his discography in the past is incredible and he was one of my biggest influences when I was learning. But I'll bring it back to what this discussion is about, this lazy pos
