our view of it is more negative than here. We think this is only a common Future Rave or some Anyma stuff, Armin tracks like this are better.
This is exactly my own viewpoint, it is nothing better compared to regular Armin tracks.

This track is not a trance track to me, only something EDM trying to be disguised as trance. Even a modern-day Gareth Emery track will receive mostly positive comments in the Chinese trance scene. But this Tiesto track is flooded with negative ones.

And we were then talking about how good Tiesto was when compiling the ISOS series, and how he has never been good at producing during the two decades (with some evidence that his early tracks are ghost- or co-produced, and Gouryella tracks mostly done by Ferry).

This track is Trance for me, but it's obviously not in the 90s/00s style that Tiesto was producing back in the day. It's more Progressive Trance/Trance 2.0 stuff with a bit of Melodic House influence in there. Not a standout for me but do like it :)

Well, well, well.

Let's change the thread title @Julian Del Agranda.

Should not even post here, but once again an example of a track that would get zero attention if produced by some random name. Garbage.

Go and listen to the new track by Luke Terry & Chris Johnson. There is some proper trance for everyone.
Ah mate. Thank you. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Not a fan of this modern anyma/John summit "plastic prog" as I call it. Sounds like it's more for people who go out clubbing in louis vuitton gear/go to Ibiza just to watch the sunset from cafe mambo because Instagram told them to. Fine if that's your thing but this does not get my penis hard like at all

EDM garbage as stated previously by others. Sounds like an attempt to subsume trancy motifs into the EDM sound to appease his current audience that he hasn’t abandoned them and appeal to trance 2.0 fans. Vocal is horrid.
The whole ‘back to trance’ thing hints at something that would whet the whistle of us old grumpy old skool Tiesto fans, as current fans would I imagine have little knowledge of his back catalogue from 25 ish years ago

Definitely a generic trance 4.0 we have heard so many times the last years. As said above, change the artist name to Armin, Gareth Emergy etc and nobody would notice any different at all.

What is cringe are the comments on Insta post lol Same as his other recent post.

Have some dignity ffs lol

I hope we'll see better names as Producers on the other album's tracks and we'll get more quality, real trancy stuff. We have seen countless times here the last 5 years that there can be quality, modern, real trance new tracks :)

What exactly do people want when they say Tiesto should get back to trance? To what trancesound should he go back to? The current one or the one he left behind (who still makes that anyway?)

No one would care about this if it had another name attached to it.
Same can be said about the majority of big name releases anyway.

I've never understood the hype for Tiesto (or Armin). Everything I've heard from them never inclined me to check out more of their work.
