Yep, after 2 weeks of driving it, I'm ready to go back to the Tesla. The shop is just about to start disassembling my car this week, likely tomorrow or Wednesday. I should be able to pick up my car some time next week.

Edit: one unexpected benefit of driving a gas car is that I can make the round-trip to DC without stopping to refuel. Top off in the Walmart right next to my apartment, drive up and back, and top off again in my city. Costs roughly $40 to fill up from 1/4 tank to full tank. With my Tesla I always need to recharge at a supercharger on the way back, and with my Leaf I could barely make the one-way trip before needing to recharge in Manassas/Fairfax (~30-45 min away from DC)

Spent the past few days working on new music despite my place being as hot as a sauna.
I seem to have got my creativity back in spades after a slow first half of the year.
got a load of projects now requiring my attention!
Made some rather nice progress on a couple of tracks and managed to sweat out my own body weight near enough

Also finally got a copy of the remixes for the ‘Into the Sky’ remixes release forthcoming at some point on Lost Language. It’s a really nice selection, including a rather gorgeous mix by Standard Form.
Absolutely cannot wait for this one

Nope.
I live in a small top floor apartment, so I'm directly against the roof (There's no attic space above me) combined with the fact that British houses are built/insulated to retain heat means that my place is a heat trap.

Ah shit, sorry to hear. WIth climate change everyone is gonna have to rethink how they build houses. I'm just glad I live in a basement so I can hide from the summer heat.

What business course are you doing? I did a 2 year Higher Diploma with a top up 1 yr Bachelor degree (with honours) in Business Administration from 1998 - 2001. It’s always interesting to see how market’s change and customer habbits etc according to new technologies and the state of certain things in the world.

Well, I did post it earlier in another thread. But it's this one BSB40320 – Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business and plus I am doing a cybersecurity course as well.

Having such a special night with my Wife on our honeymoon. She’s just … i don’t know

( I’m speechless) . Im having a realisation that I am exactly where I ‘want’ and ‘need’ to be. A place I have dreamt of.

In Love, in a place happiness can exist for two people.

The things I’ve seen in her tonight.

. I can’t describe. The conversations we have had. How she has opened up and let herself be freer than ever.

Something in this universe, whatever laws & power that bring about circumstances, seems to be providing the correct space for happiness and freedom to exist for us two.
Atlast im grateful for that power, even tho all the pain I’ve endured in my life through not understanding it.

What we have now has no comparable value. And we both deserve it so much.

Were these restrictions worth it?
Youl be surprised to hear me say ‘potentially yes’ - but then there was no real choice in the matter. Good people do their best.

(Apologies as I should not say exactly what I’m talking about)

I got an interview for the same role I was trying to get promoted to, but at a different site. Hopefully that works out! If not, I'll know if there's anything lacking in my experiences/skills that I need to work on over the next 6 months.

I made an excellent financial decision this morning and bought Final Cut Pro on the App Store, when I’m still in debt for other things. But hey, my credit was increased lately so

Thing is: I still haven’t been charged for it yet. And I work for my credit card’s company doing customer service, so I know a thing or two about how it’s supposed to work - the transaction should show as pending immediately, and it hasn’t. I double checked this with my colleagues even, and I downloaded the thing this AM before I left for work.

So I may or may not have acquired a video editing suite worth $400 for (almost?) free today
